Good Morning!

It is really important to read different translations of the Bible and compare what the difference is.

Psalm 118:24 (King James Version)

24This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24 (New International Version)

24 This is the day the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The difference between these two Psalms, "we will" compared to "let us" is pretty important.

One is instructing us, "we will rejoice and be glad in it."

versus one more like an invitation, either to be excepted or denied: "let us rejoice and be glad in it."

This is a great day in the Lord. Chances are great we will all have some sort of issue today, but we should still hold the joy of the Lord within our hearts as this world is temporary and God is building a house.

1 Peter 2:4-6 (New International Version)

The Living Stone and a Chosen People

4As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him— 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6For in Scripture it says:
"See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame."

Let's make this a great day!!

Jim
