Jeremiah 29:13 (New International Version)
13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Are you feeling distant from God? Do you think He is no longer by your side? Take it from someone who knows, He has not left your side! It is us, that has turned from Him.
God wants all of us. He does not want just a portion of what we have to offer. The Bible talks about tithing. We are to give a tenth of our best first fruits. Some think this just pertains to money, but it really pertains to every portion of our life. Our time, our energy, our abilities, our finances. When reading the parable of the talents,

God has provided us all with gifts, with abilities, not just to help others, but also to help us understand the character of our God. The more we are able to work within the abilities He provides us, the more we understand about Him, the closer we become like Christ. The only thing He wants all of is the passion we hold in our hearts for Him.
"You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart."
We are called to pray the promises of God, this is one of many promises. He will present Himself to us, when we present all of ourselves to Him.
It sounds like a huge impossible task to undertake. What about my family? What about my job? What about my free time?
God provides for all. He mentions this when He talks about providing for the sparrows.
Matthew 10:30-32 (New International Version)
30And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
32"Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.
The more we are willing to give to our God, our Savior, our King, He will pour out blessings greater than our imagination can fathom.
James 4:2-3 (New International Version)
2You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
God tells us we do not have because we do not ask, at least ask with the right motives. Remember what I mentioned about seeking God with all our heart? There in lies the key.
Seek God with all your heart. Learn and pray the promises of God, and He will rain down blessings upon you greater than you can ever dream.
